The booth

A round, lit platform with a motorised camera arm. Your guests step on — alone or in a group — and the arm circles them while an iPhone camera records at up to 240 frames per second. The clip is processed on the spot into a smooth slow-motion video with music, transitions and your overlay, then handed straight to the guest to share.

A short, slow-motion HD video of themselves, set to music and finished with your event's overlay. They get it within seconds of stepping off the platform, by QR code, AirDrop or email — no app, no waiting until after the event. It is a video, not a printed photo; if prints are what you are after, see the instant-print booth.

One or two of our trained hostesses, for the whole of your booking. They guide guests onto the platform, set up each spin, keep the queue moving and help with sharing. A technician is on standby throughout.

Yes. The platform is stable and anti-slip, and it is surrounded by stanchions so the camera arm always has a clear path and guests keep a safe distance while it moves. Our hostess helps every group on and off.

Yes. We add custom watermarks, logos and animated overlays to every clip — ideal for corporate events, product launches and themed parties. Send your artwork and requests at least seven days before the event so there is time to design and test the overlay.

At the sharing station next to the platform. Guests preview their clip, then take it by QR code, AirDrop or email. We bring our own high-speed internet for this, so it does not depend on the venue's Wi-Fi.

Yes. Every clip from your event is stored securely in the cloud and you — the organiser — get a private link to the full set. It stays available for one year after the event, and storage can be extended if you want to keep it longer. The conditions of operation have the details.

Unlimited. For as long as the booth is booked, guests can go back on the platform as often as they like — there are no credits and no video count.

Every event is quoted individually — the number of hours, the location and your date all affect it. Send us the details and we will reply with availability and a quote. Everything included is listed on the packages page, and the only possible extras (long-distance transport, very early or late setup, extended cloud storage) are set out in the conditions of operation.

Yes, anywhere in Mauritius. Transport is free up to 60 km (round trip) from our studio; beyond that a transport charge is added to your quote, depending on the location.

They are stored securely and shared only through the private link we give the organiser. We may use a few short, respectful excerpts to show our work — if you or any guest would rather not appear, tell us and we will remove it promptly. The privacy policy has the full detail.

Then the booth you want is our sister brand, Fotobooth.mu — a classic instant-print photo booth, run by the same team. The two booths are alternatives rather than a pair: we set up one or the other at an event, so tell us which suits yours and we will quote that.

Your venue

A clear area of 5 m × 5 m is ideal, and 4 m × 4 m is the minimum — the camera arm needs room to turn and guests need room to queue around it. We also need a small table nearby for the sharing station. A corner works best, so the booth does not block the flow of the room.

Yes, as long as the area is properly covered. If it is under a tent, the tent must be professional-grade, anchored to the ground and closed on at least three sides, so the equipment is protected from rain and wind. The ground must be flat and stable — ideally insulated, for example with wooden pallets.

One standard 13 A socket (UK or French type) within 20 metres of the setup. Nothing more specialised than that.

Yes — a site visit is part of every booking, arranged a few weeks before the event. It lets us confirm the space, the power and the access, and agree where the booth will stand, so nothing is left to chance on the day.

The equipment is heavy and cannot be carried by hand over long distances. If the setup area is more than 50 metres from where our vehicle can park, we will ask the venue or organiser to provide safe transport for it — a buggy, trolley, cart or lift.

Yes, but tell us your timings when you ask for a quote. Setting up before 10:00, starting late in the evening, or having the booth set up and idle before it is needed all mean our team is on standby, so an hourly standby fee applies. The conditions of operation set out exactly when.

Booking & payment

Our standard bookings run from three to eight hours. For a longer event or a full day, ask and we will prepare a custom quote. See packages for what every booking includes.

Your date is confirmed only once payment is received, and dates go to whoever pays first. For events more than 60 days away, a 50% deposit secures the booking and the balance is due at least seven days before. For events within 60 days, full payment is due upfront. Cancellation terms are in the conditions of operation.

Music & the finer details

Yes. By default the clips are set to popular, trending songs synced to the slow motion. If you want a particular track — your first-dance song, a campaign jingle — send it at least seven days before the event.
